When emotions clouds your thoughts. When your thoughts blocks all emotions. Or when those two coexist.

Nothing good ever comes out of them.

When things don’t go our way, we think the world is against us.

When someone criticises you, you think that person doesn’t like you.

When someone’s comments are not to your liking, you don’t like them.

When you don’t like someone, everything they do is wrong.

When you don’t understand the other person, you think they’re incoherent.

We assume and judge. The best part is we always think we are right.

We whine and complain. Thinking that that solves everything.

We comment and criticize. Without thinking about it first.

And I really hate it when people only listen to what they want to listen and not to what they should.

Sometimes, I wish I wasn’t lying.

Why is it that I don’t feel like I should write about them anymore? It just feels too open. The World Wide Web is a scary place.

I used to pour my heart out here. I guess not anymore.

Or maybe it’s just a phase I am going through.

To be honest, I have mixed feelings about starting my semester. I am excited when I think about what’s to come – Final Year Project, my new term as a vice president in AIESEC in USM and just planning random outings with friends in uni but I know I am going to miss my family, the BFFs and the boyfriend.

Time doesn’t stop and wait. I think we all know that. I just have to remember that and appreciate every minute I have.

I might not have all the time in the world but I am sure I have enough.

I, of course can come up with 128 excuses if I wanted to but oh well, I am sure you guys don’t wanna know that x)

I am already halfway through my holidays and time sure is passing by really fast. Since I finished my final paper, all I have been doing was eating a hell lot, meeting people, babysitting and most of all, having fun.

For example, right after my exams I went to Tao in Autocity, Penang.

and has the best, most orgasmic scallops I have EVER tasted.

#2. Absolutely delicious! Scallops topped with jap mayo, fish roe and cheese.

I went home and a day later I was heading to… guess where x)

#3. Strawberries!

Cameron Highlands! Hehe. I have always enjoyed family trips.

Two weeks later, after the Cameron Trip, I was on a bus heading back to Penang to attend a 3-days conference.

#4. National Pioneers Conference

This has to be the most comfortable conference ever! It was in a hotel that was located right in fron of the beach hehe.

Right after the National Pioneers Conference, I did not go home. Instead, I headed to Ipoh for a few days.

#5. In Ipoh

Ipoh was so sinful. My hosts basically brought me around Ipoh just to eat! I had so much fun that I am going to dedicate a post just for my Ipoh Trip. Coming up soon!

After Ipoh, I was suppose to attend MIRACLE Youth Conference as a facilitator again this year. But Alex fell sick, so I decided to pull out at the very last minute to help out at home. Was kinda disappointed but I heard MYC was awesome this year =) That was all that mattered.

So what have I been doing at home then? Well, nowadays what else is there to do but watch football. I have to admit, though I am not an avid football fan I think I have caught the World Cup fever.

What more when I get to watch it at home in HD hehe.

Am blogging from McD, Penang Airport. My check-in luggage was 21.5 kgs, thank goodness I a sitting Malaysian Airlines. I didn’t even have to pay for the extra 1kg thanks to very friendly staff. He even asked me if or not I wanted to pay for that excess weight LoL.

Another hour to boarding time, and then it’s 50 minutes to KLIA and from there 30 minutes (with my dad’s driving, less) to home.

I am sitting in McD, having mixed feelings about ending my 2nd year and moving on to be a Final Year student. Time sure doesn’t wait for anyone.

Home, I am almost there!

During the finals you see those who never study pick up their books, procrastination is at its best too and people come out with all kind of ways (and excuses) to de-stress. People like me.

During these 3 weeks, I have watched 2 movies (or was it 3?) in the cinema, watched Disney movies – Cinderella, Snow White and Beauty and the Beast, go for very late night suppers, ate more than usual and camwhore-d more then ever.

Well this is the last week of exams with 2 more papers to go and I officially end my 2nd year in University.

I already have a whole list of to-dos during the holidays! which includes a not-so-secret project anymore. Hehe.

I have decided, finally, to switch to jessieloi.com x) I foresee that it’s gonna take up A LOT of my time cause I am just absolutely hopeless in whatever blog-editing etc. Anybody wanna offer to help me ah? Lol.

Other than that, it includes babysitting nephew, attending conferences, loads of yumcha sessions. Wah so exciting cannot wait!

Ok I have to get back to the books, and so everyone wish me luck and see you guys after my exams hehe. Maybe at jessieloi.com. I can’t wait!

Oh yes, cannot wait to go home too!

I remember the time when I found out. I heard it, but my brain wasn’t processing the information. It took me a full 1 minute to fully understand what was going on.

I remember the look on their faces, the emotions then – anger, disappointment, frustration. Funny, cause I remembered thinking and knowing that everything would be alright.

and I was right =)

Although after that, there were ups and downs and we know that there are going to be more to come, everything turned out ok.

The anger, disappointment and frustration are all just a memory. They are now replaced with pride, happiness and joy.

I guess everything happens for a reason we just need to connect the dots (like what Steve Jobs said). After all that has happened, I can only see the positive things that we have gained out of these 2 years. I am glad =) I wouldn’t want to change a thing.

In the past 4 months, I have managed to increase the amount of things I own and done tremendous damage to my bank account.

I always take a plane home. So whenever flying is involved, understand that it means there is a limit in the luggage weight I can check in. Which is either 15 kgs or 20 kgs depending on which airline.

So what damage have I done in the past 4 months?

Well, people who understand me enough know that I did not double my collection of clothes. So, there is only one possible item left.

Books.

I have no idea how am I gonna bring back all 12 of them without exceeding the weight limit for baggages. Thinking of carrying them on board, but it’s gonna be so heavy!
