This is me. With spectacles; with thick lion-ish hair; with eyes closed; and erm, just me.

One thing in common all these pictures have? One wide, similar looking smile and dimples. Oh, you might also notice that when I smile my eyes look like this ^.^ but I assure you, when I am not smiling they are like this 0.0.

Random Facts

My name is Jessica Loi Li – Wei. In this blog I call myself JessieLoi. Family calls me either Ah Ling, Ah Ka or Ka Ka. My friends are more creative. They call me either Jessica, Jessie, Jess, Loi, Li-Wei, Loi-Li, Forehead, LoiLiPop and whatever creative names they always come up with. It changes with time.

I am a student, trying to get her Bachelors degree in Applied Biology. My major is Environmental Science and I study in Universiti of Sains Malaysia (USM), Penang.

I am an AIESECer and love being one X)

My birthday is on the 1st March. Hehe. Born in a leap year too. My age doesn’t matter, what matters is I am legal to drive, drink or do whatever I want.

Oh yes, even if I am legal to drive, I have no license. Hehe.

Single but not at all miserable about it. Hey, being single has its perks too right? =)

My Family

My family – 1 man and 4 women and a boy.

DaddyLoi, who has survived all these years living with 4 female loves Football and watching anything Sports except Baseball and Squash. He doesn’t understand baseball and thinks squash is nonsense. Heh. One thing that he clearly passed on to me is his forehead (now do you know why my friends call me Forehead?).

MummyLoi, my ever concerned mother. She was the one who smack/whacks and canes me whenever I was naughty yet at the same time pampers me. She’s always trying to give her daughters what they need and want. =) Like DaddyLoi.

BigSis Loi, married and has a son, Alexander. Sarcastic and straight forward and she does the funniest things sometimes. She is an air stewardess for Singapore Airlines. So yeah, I am guessing I am a pretty irritating sister because I constantly asks her to buy stuff for me. Especially chocolate X)

SmallSis Loi, vain and loud but very reliable. An accounting student in Inti. Unfortunately for you guys, she is already taken. Sorry la. X)

Darling Alex, my nephew. He can now run, climb, jump and talk. Yeah, his a mini hurricane that talks. He calls me Di-Yee (which means second aunt in Hokkien) and I suspect his hobby is Hit-Di-Yee. Seriously, every time he sees me he will go “DHUSH DI YEE” with his fist out and swinging to my face. At any time he manages to hit me, he laughs cause he finds it funny T_T Did I mention that he poked SmallSis Loi’s eye once till she had to go see the doctor? Then again, whenever he gives us his cheeky smile, all is forgiven. We are spoiling him, aren’t we?

My Besties!

I call them my BFFs. From left – HengLi, Audrey and XinMin.

HengLi (or Heng), met in form 4, and he hated me because I was that prefect who always pinpoints his mistakes in school Hahahaha. Be careful who you hate, you might end up buddies with them like us. Though it may not be a bad thing. He is the best friend a girl can ask for. He lets Min, Drey and I to bully him and lets us take very stupid pictures and videos of him. When you post it up on the internet, he never gets angry. =) He is now studying in UMSKAL, Labuan.

Audrey (or Drey), short and fussy. Met her in form 6, and I will never forget how. Our first conversation whth each other was a lie! She lied right at my face! My blog’s number one fan x) and an extreme camwhore. She blames me but seriously I may have gotten her into the whole camwhoring thing, but I am NOT as extreme as her. By extreme, I mean she will take 100 shots of the same position, for all she cares until she gets her perfect shot. Yes, that extreme. She is studying in US.

XinMin (or Min), whom I met in form 6 too. We went to a conference together and for some reason we clicked and that was it. We have this thing we call ‘the bridge’. We somehow are able to know what the other person is thinking. Probably cause we think so alike Hahaha. Oh, we can spend hours talking and gossiping. Hehe. She is studying in UM, Selangor or KL. Whichever x)

Extended Family

Let me explain the reason behind the ‘extended family’ term. The u8 gang (that consist of only 4 girls including me), are loud and, erm loud. My parents love them. Every time they come to my house, my parents will offer them food, which they will gladly take cause they’re family Haha. Then their loudness found its way to the heart of my aunties and uncles, they love my u8 gang too. My aunts and uncles now know my highschool friends well enough to ask me everytime “How is Clement?” or “How is Esther?” or “How is Suet Li?” or “How is [insert name]?”. Oh you know what is the best part? During Chinese New Year, all my gang has to do is visit my house, and they get to collect more than 5 packets of angpau. Yes, cause my aunts love them too.

Oh, Kai Tzin who calls himself Kaze whom I call a gitch because he told me to wtf is not in the picture. In case you’re wondering, my extended family calls me Jess, except for Wai Hong (who is not in picture) who calls me Kak, and the Gitch who calls me a bitch, but recently changed his mind and decided to call me Jlut (pronounced as Je-Lat).

And to give credit where credit is due. It was Kai Tzin who first came up with the term family. Thus, we are one extended family. =)

Addictions/Likes/Hobbies/Whatever You Want To Call It

Books/Reading (except Horror stories) To date, I have no idea how many books I own. Hehe. Maybe I should start keeping track. My dream is to have a library in my house when I own one. =)

Chocolate! (especially DARK CHOCOLATE. The darker the better!)

Cinema. Ok, I know having the cinema as an addiction is weird but I really love going to cinemas to watch movies. Heck, I don’t mind paying money to watch a cartoon. Yes even if it’s a cartoon like A Princess and a Frog (which I am sooooo gonna watch). I’ll watch anything in a cinema EXCEPT ghost movies or anything that involves people’s guts getting blended or something.

Photography =) No I do not own a SLR although I really want to. But I used to own a Canon Ixus 80is until I ruined the motherboard. So now I am stuck with an old camera. Waiting to get a new one =) I own a Canon Ixus 100is. I really love taking pictures and I don’t mean just pictures of myself ok.

Self-photography . Hehe. Okaaaay. I love camwhoring.

Facebook. Yes. I admit. I am a Facebook addict.

Twitter. Yes, Twitter tooooo.

Smiles. I know this sounds very crazy. I mean, Jessica Loi is addicted to smiles. Very crazy I know. But let me explain! I love to smile, I love seeing people smile and seeing people’s smiles make me happy. How can you not get addicted to things that make you happy? Right? =D
